Installation, Upgrades, and Lifecycle Support for Shipboard Electrical Combat Systems

Modernizing shipboard power and system integration to support next-generation sensors and weapons across all classes of ships, improving reliability and combat readiness. ARMADA’s electrical combat systems capabilities include:

Electrical Disconnects & Reconnects

Execution of safe and controlled electrical power disconnects and reconnections, ensuring proper equipment isolation in accordance with 009-73 and DOD-STD-2003 prior to system modifications or upgrade activities.

Electrical Equipment Removal & Installation

Comprehensive removal and installation of electrical equipment performed by skilled trades professionals. Our team safely disconnects and restores associated piping, wiring, and structural supports while ensuring precise alignment, integration, and full system functionality in accordance with shipboard requirements.

Circuit Removal, Installation, & Termination

Careful removal and management of existing cabling to support seamless integration with upgraded equipment. Our team installs and terminates new circuits, including customized cable assemblies and connector configurations, ensuring proper routing, secure connections, and reliable system performance in shipboard environments.

Checkpoints, Testing & SOVT Support

Defined project checkpoints coordinated with the shipyard or customer to ensure alignment, visibility, and schedule control throughout each phase of work. Technical support for System Operability Verification Testing (SOVT) is provided to validate system performance, integration, and operational readiness following installation or upgrade activities.

Cableway Management, Cosmetics, Closeout & Multi-Cable Transits (MCTs)

Effective cableway management and properly controlled multi-cable transits are critical to preventing installation delays and system performance issues. Serving as MCT Coordinator on multiple large-scale modernization programs, our team has maintained schedule discipline while achieving early milestone completion, including delivery 30 and 70 days ahead of requested dates.

Fiber Optic Removal, Installation & Testing

Removal, installation, and testing of fiber optic cabling performed in accordance with 009-123 and MIL-STD-2042 certification requirements. Extensive experience supporting fiber optic systems upgrades ensures proper handling, termination, testing, and restoration of critical data pathways within shipboard combat systems.

Foundation Removal & Installation

Equipment foundations are critical to proper mounting, alignment, and required clearances with adjacent systems. With more than 30 years of shipboard modernization experience, our team identifies and resolves potential interferences during foundation modeling and preparation, reducing risk and ensuring accurate equipment landing and integration.
